Ladies First!

History was once again made at Aintree on Saturday, when Rachel Blackmore rode Minella Times to victory in the 2021 Grand National. in doing so she won a bottle of champagne for Lynn Middleton, who had been drawn the lucky number 35 in the Yellowdot Sweepstake.

The win adds to Lynn’s champagne haul, as she also won our Christmas ‘name the reindeer’ competition – although lockdown has prevented that being presented yet. When the current restrictions are finally lifted, there’ll be plenty of fizz to celebrate in the MMP offices!

Congratulations too to the others that ‘made the frame’ this year. Runner-up prizes for the places (2nd to 5th) will be going out to Janine Bailey, Jon Rich, Jemma Woolford and Liz Lindsay.
